14 Signs and Symptoms of Feline Distemper, Herpesvirus and Calcivirus

Depending on your pet it can be easy or difficult to tell when something is wrong with their health. Luckily, there are signs and symptoms of common diseases that can give you clues and alert you when to seek advice from your veterinarian.

There are some signs and symptoms to look out for in a few common feline diseases called feline panleukopenia (feline distemper), feline herpesvirus and feline calcivirus. Here is what to watch out for in the following viruses:

Feline Panleukopenia Virus, also known as Feline Distemper;

• fever
• vomiting
• diarrhea
• immune suppression
• anemia

• ulcers of mouth and tongue
• coughing
• sneezing
• fever

• inactivity
